SUMMERCAMPS 2020 Welcome to summer!  All camps  run for Monday-Friday from 9 am - 2 pm with a showcase on Friday evening at 7pm.  Enrollment includes  five 50-minutes sessions with yummy snacks  (fruit, juice, muffins &  cookies) for all!      Save 40% by March 31 - $250  • Save 15% by April 30: $300 • After May 1: $350
METAL CAMP  :   June  22-26, 9am-2pm plus June 26, 7 pm
This 5-day metal madness sick-as-sick can be shred session is for  intermediate to advanced rock musicians who want to shred-it-up! 
Guitar, bass, drums and vocals will work   together with our staff  of shred•masters  to learn and perform   the music   that makes your mom ill
RECORDING  :   July 6-10, 9am-2pm plus 7/10, 7 pm
Producers:   Learn how to engineer and produce a recording   in 5 days using  Logic Pro X, Ableton or Reaper.   An overview of the physics of sound, mics and mic placement, analog and digital signal flow,  how to track, mix and master.
Musicians:   Learn how to track your parts and be a recording session musician.  How to get your best performance  of that new song you wrote, recorded
SONGWRITING  :   July 13-17, 9am-2pm plus 7/17, 7 pm
This 5-day musical adventure is  for  teens who play an instrument; typically guitar, piano, ukulele or similar  [and sing?]. If you are a young person who wants to write songs - we want to hear from you.    5 hours/day in 50-minute segments with fruit, cookies, muffins and drinks included on breaks.   Includes songwriting in the park on the creek  across the street, co-songwriting, how to write a hook and more!   
JAZZBAND :   July 20-24,  9am-2pm, Showcase: 6/12, 7 pm
This  Monday-Friday 'intensive' session fuzes jazz, rock and funk music.  This session    is    for jazz and rock music students who want to work in    small combos of up to eight    instruments.  We will focus on improvisation over solid grooves with drums, percussion, guitar, bass, piano,  sax, trumpet, trombone and    flute   learning  and performing   the music of Chick Corea, Herbie  Hancock,   Snarky Puppy, Return to Forever,  Lettuce,   Weather Report & more!   
ROCKBAND  :   July 27-31, 9am-2pm plus July 26, 7 pm
Play an instrument but too busy with sports and school?    Taking lessons but never get a chance to play with others?  Thinking about enrolling in SLAM in the fall, but want to check it out first?
