CORE PROGRAM
How to play in a rock, pop or blues band for ages 7-11

The CORE program is a 1-hour weekly program for ages 7-11 that combines a 30-minute private lesson with a 60-minute group lesson/band rehearsal.  CORE program teaches students how to play in a band in weekly 30-minute lessons.  Topics taught include: acoustics, signal flow, electroacoustics, and critical listening.  CORE program is available on a free-to-fee sliding scale from $250/month based on income using Salt Lake County HUD guidelines.*

CREW PROGRAM
Rock, pop & blues performance program for ages 12-17

The CREW program is an audition-based 2-hour weekly program for ages 12-17 that combines a 30-minute private lesson with a 120-minute group lesson/rehearsal with quarterly performances in 2025 on these dates:
 

  • Friday or Saturday, March 22 or 23 - Pat's BBQ

  • Friday or Saturday, June 20 or 21 - Pat's BBQ

  • Friday or Saturday, September 19 or 20 - Pat's BBQ

  • Saturday, December 6 - The Commonwealth Room


The Crew program teaches young musicians how to be a good and reliable bandmate who shows up for rehearsals prepared to play with others and can play a variety of modern music, including rock, metal, pop, funk, soul, and blues music.

Available on a free-to-fee sliding scale from $250/month based on income using Salt Lake County HUD guidelines.*
